Effectiveness of Infrared and William Flexion Exercise on Reducing Pain and Increasing Flexibility in Patients with Low Back Pain

Introduction: The condition of low back pain is a musculoskeletal problem without age limit. Patients with lower tend to take analgesic drugs reduce pain. Apart from pharmacological consumption, the tendency for sufferers seek other alternatives, namely; physiotherapy treatment. One treatments giving infrared and William flexion exercise or combination both. This study aims determine effectiveness in reducing flexibility lumbar muscles. Method: research design quasi experimental pre-posttest control group. population consisted 44 patients at Physiomar Clinic by dividing 40 samples into intervention groups (William exercise) group (Infrared Flexion Exercise) 2 times/week 1 month. level measured using Visual Analog Scale (VAS) Modified Schober Test (MST). data was analyzed Wilcoxon Mann Whitney (α≤0.05). Results: showed median pre-post score 6.00-5.00 value 3.00-3.00 (p=0.000); while 6.00-2.00 2.50-10.00 (p=0.000). better than changes physiomar clinic
